How to Join a Class at Ubud Studio
Joining a class at Ubud Studio is simple. You can walk in on the day of the class and register directly at the studio reception. We welcome complete beginners as well as experienced dancers, so you can always find a class that matches your level.
You will find our pricing list just below, with flexible options including single class passes, multi-class cards, and private lessons. This makes it easy to choose what works best for your dance journey.
For dancers who would like to join an intermediate class for the first time, an assessment from a teacher is required before entering. This is to ensure that students have the right foundation, so the class flows smoothly, and everyone can progress together. Our teachers will guide you to the best class for your level so you feel comfortable and supported.

**the 10, 20 and 30 classes card can be used to join any regular class except community classes and intensive courses. The 10, 20 and 30 classes card are non-refundable BUT they are transferable. They are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.

Yes, we have beginner levels for Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Zouk and WCS. Teachers will guide you step by step so you feel confident from your very first class.
Can I join an intermediate class directly?
If you want to join an intermediate class for the first time, one of our teachers will give you a quick assessment. This ensures you have the right foundation and that the whole class progresses smoothly.
Do you offer private lessons?
Yes, private lessons are available for individuals, couples, or small groups. Balinese dance is also taught through private classes only.
How can I pay for classes?
You can pay at the studio with cash, card or digital payments. Flexible options are available, including single passes and multi-class cards.
